Chemical Peels

Fresher, brighter skin

The effects of pollution, ageing, sun damage, clogged pores, acne and pigmentation can all result in skin which is lacklustre and dull looking, all of which can contribute over time to the appearance of premature aging and tired skin.

The clinical-grade, active ingredients in skin peels work to reduce the appearance of open pores, remove dead skin cells, target blemishes, acne and pigmentation, and visibly smooth fine lines and wrinkles. The procedure has become increasingly widely used to treat skin conditions such as fine line and wrinkles, acne, hyper-pigmentation and sun damage – and the results can be life-transforming.

How does it work?

Skin peels contain naturally occurring acids, in concentrations designed to provide powerful exfoliation when applied to the skin. The procedure is non-invasive and most clients only report mild discomfort while the acid application is active, for around 20 minutes.

There are a range of different peels available depending on your skin type and specific concerns. For example, for acne, combination skin, and younger skin which suffers from blocked pores or the build-up of dead skin cells, salicylic acid peels are highly effective, especially in combination with associated products in your daily skincare regime to improve the texture and appearance of pores, eradicating excess sebum and tightening the skin for a clearer and more radiant skin profile.

For more mature skin, or skin which suffers from dryness, laxity, dullness, rosacea or pigmentation, glycolic acid peels are a good choice, producing highly effective results within a few days of the treatment by visibly reducing the appearance of fine lines and promoting smoother skin texture. This results in softer, more hydrated and nourished skin, and works extremely well in combination with other anti-aging treatments such as Botox, Dermal Fillers and Microneedling.
